How to connect Octorate to OctoTable
If you haven’t signed up yet > click here and complete the registration. Once you’ve completed the registration process, you can set up your account! Create your services, your digital menu, customize your booking page and activate all the features you want. Click here to access your guide to get started! Ok, now you can connect your OctoTable account to Octorate! Go to Advanced Settings > Connections and choose Octorate. Enter your Octorate ID code as you can see in the image below: Then click on SAVE and IMPORT. Log in to Octorate with your username and password. The system will automatically create your Octorate rooms In your OctoTable account. You will find your property in Configuration > Dining Rooms/Areas as a dining room (not bookable) and inside you will find your PMS rooms as if they were tables. Each room/table has a QR code which you can print out and place in each room. This way your guest can scan the code and ask for Room Service from your digital menu. Room service Book a table in the restaurant Offer room service via QRCode Associating the restaurant bill with the room bill Let's see them all more in details. How can I offer the Room Service? 🍷 Make sure that you have properly connected your Octorate account to your OctoTable account, click here to find out. You can offer the Room service through your Web Concierge or through QR code scanning: 1. Offer Room Service from your WebConcierge Go to Octorate > Marketing > WebConcierge and select Yes for Room Service. You can even customise the title section according to the service you offer. Customers will be able to ask for Room Service from the WebConcierge and orders will be directly delivered to their room. Your guests' information will be automatically copied from Octorate. You can check your Room service requests on your OctoTable account on Bookings > Room service. 2. Offer Room Service using QRcode Go to Configuration > Dining areas and access you Octorate property by clicking on the green pencil. Then click on [Print QR code] to print all the rooms QR code. You will download a PDF with your QR Code, so you can place them in your rooms. Your guests can scan that code and complete the room service request as we showed you above. How can I let my guests book a table at the restaurant? 🍴 Go to Marketing > WebConcierge and turn on the tab. You can custom the title of this section. Your guests will click on Book and will be redirected to OctoTable Booking Engine. The guests information will be copied automatically, they only have to make their date and time choices and then You can allow your guests to send you the order for dinner or lunch for the next day. In Octotable go to Configuration > Services/Opening hours and keep on NO the Disable online reservation tab: You can even allow your guests to pick their table. Click on the tab to enable this tool. How can I send the restaurant receipt to the hotel? 💳 Your hotel guests may come to your restaurant without a booking. How can you handle that situation? 🤔 Insert a new reservation manually and enter at least first name and last name of your guest: Select the orders made in the reservation page At the end of the page, link the OctoTable reservation to Octorate room/booking: ❗ Don't forget to click on [Save] before you leave the page.
