This article explains how to link a service to a specific room in your venue. This way, if you have dedicated areas – for example the garden for breakfast or the pool area for aperitifs – you can associate each service with the correct room. This ensures that every online booking arrives with the right area already assigned, avoiding errors and simplifying organization. The setup is simple and can be managed in just a few steps from the Services and Hours section.
⚠️ If you want to include the Advanced Features (Advanced User) in your subscription, you will need to purchase a DigiMenu, Premium or EVO plan in Subscription > Upgrade ⚠️
With OctoTable you can link each service to its dedicated room. This way, when a customer books online, the reservation arrives with the correct area already paired with the chosen service. For example, if you plan to offer breakfast only in the garden, you can associate that area of your restaurant with the breakfast service and receive bookings based on your configuration.
If you haven't done so yet:

⚙️ How to associate a room with a service
Go to Configuration > Services hours and create a new one or click on the pencil icon next to the service you want to modify:
In the Seating areas/Tables section you'll find the dropdown menu where you can select the room associated with the service. By default you'll find "all of the seating areas" selected, open the dropdown menu and check the rooms you want to associate.
Always remember to save before exiting!
📌Note These features are only available in Advanced User mode, which you can recognize by the 🚀 rocket icon in the top menu.
🖼️ What customers see
When a customer searches on your booking page, they will find the rooms you associated during configuration for each service. In our example, having selected only the garden for breakfast time, the customer won't be able to choose and will be redirected directly to the booking form where they will find the garden as Seating area.
