Access the Configuration > Services/Opening hours section and click on the pencil corresponding to the service in which you want to apply the function.
Under Limit the number of bookable covers choose YES.
A tab will appear allowing you to decide whether to limit the number of place settings per time slot or per service.
After choosing how you want to limit the number of place settings, you will have to enter the maximum number of places you accept per time slot or per service
The system will automatically check the maximum number of covers available in the rooms associated with this service and will block the reservation when the maximum limit set by you is reached.
For example, if the total capacity of the area associated with this service is 50 seats but you enter 25 per time slot (you find this option under the heading "Which times to show on the booking form?"), you will receive a maximum of 25 seats for each slot. Once this limit is reached, the system will stop any new reservation for that same time slot .
You can also limit the number of covers you receive during the entire service; if the room capacity is 50 seats but you only wish to receive 40 people, select Limit covers for entire service and enter the number 40 under Maximum number of covers. Once this number of customers is reached, the system will prevent new incoming bookings for the rest of the service.
It is possible to limit the number of place settings only for online reservations.
This means that the system will only take into account the number of places booked online.
Example: If you take a manual reservation for 4 people at noon but you've limited the number of reservations online to 6 per time slot, you will still have 6 places left for online bookings at noon.
