What is it for?
All the orders that your customers make from the digital menu arrive on the Orders page, regardless of the ordering method you have activated (Click here to find out all the ways you can receive orders on OctoTable)
This page can be consulted by those in the kitchen or by the person in charge of preparing orders via smartphone, tablet, computer or any device at your disposal.
Where can I find this page?
Click on the icon shown in the image that you always find on the bar at the top right
Or from the side menu by clicking on Reservations > Orders
Functions Available
On the Orders page you will immediately find the search filters and other buttons at the top:
1. Sort orders by customer name
2. Sort orders by date
3. Sort orders by type of reservation: here you can choose to see only orders from certain rooms, or orders from specific booking methods (Pickup/Pay&Go, Delivery, Room)
4. Sort orders by service: here you can choose to see only the orders for a specific service and not for all
5. Simple list/Group by table: this filter allows you to choose whether to see all the orders sent in descending order (Simple list), the most recent at the top.
Or grouped by table or customer:
6. Set everything as delivered: at the end of the service, by clicking on this button, you can mark everything as Delivered. The items marked with this Status will disappear from this page, but you can always find them by accessing the booking details
7. REPORT : By clicking on Report you will access the page with the count of the items requested, sorted by category or by service. You can set all the search filters you need, by date, type of reservation and service and then print the list of items ordered.
8. Order status: each order has its own status, the status can be changed from the kitchen with a simple touch on the icon corresponding to each order. Click here to read the detailed article explaining the various order statuses.
