The new OctoTable widget offers a wide range of customisation options to ensure seamless integration with your website. In addition to the advanced customisation options, you can easily configure the widget to perfectly match the design of your website.

How to create a new booking widget
In the Configuration > Booking Widget section, click Add to create a new one or Delete selected to delete it.
To edit it, simply click the Edit button on the widget you want to edit.
To see a preview of the final result, click on the blue button.
Creating or editing the widget
Name - give the widget a name to distinguish it from others
Button title: Choose a clear and inviting title for the button that customers will see in the widget. For example, you could use ‘Book Now’ or another phrase that invites to action.
Welcome Message: Write a message that will be displayed when the widget is opened. You can use it to inform customers about the restaurant rules or to give them a warm welcome.
At the bottom you find the ‘Automatically translate to missing languages’ button, which translates for you the text into all other languages.
Graphics settings
Theme: Choose the light theme (black text on a white background) or a dark theme (white text on a black background) to adapt the widget to your site.
Font: Select the font for the button text that best matches the design of your site.
Show restaurant logo: Customise the widget by displaying your restaurant logo, which will be retrieved automatically from the booking page section.
Opening Panel: Choose which panel (Time Slot, Number of Guests, Calendar) should automatically open when the widget is displayed.
Top right:
Edit button CSS: Further customise the appearance of the button by editing the CSS directly.
To display the booking widget on your site, simply copy the source code and paste it on the page where you want it to appear.
N.B. When creating the widget, the source code will not be displayed until it has been saved. ⚠️ Positioning the opening button: To provide the best user's experience, we recommend you to place the widget's opening button in an suitable size area so that the widget can open correctly without any restriction.

Important Note: Advanced customisation including theme, fonts, opening panels, logo edit and CSS are only available to customers using the customised EVO widget.
Most of the widget configuration is done on the booking page and services page where you can set up:
Widget background: Change the colour or background image for the widget.
Number of people per booking: Set the maximum number of people who can book at the same time.
Booking times: Manage the times available for booking.
Dining room choice: Allow customers to choose the room they wish to book.
