Do you need to quickly set up your Octotable account? With the Setup Wizard you can quickly create the dining rooms, tables and services! Get to know how to set up the Dining Rooms/Areas in this article!
Go to Configuration > Dining rooms / Areas and click on Setup Wizard:
In the following page, name your restaurant’s rooms. Click on Add another room to add more rooms (ex. Indoor, Outdoor). If you need to delete a room, just click on the bin button in correspondence of the room. Click on Forward to continue with the configuration of the tables within each room.
For each room created you can create the corresponding tables. Click on Add to add a table and in the window that will appear you have to:
Choose the Typology (ex. round, squared, etc.)
Name the table (ex. 1, A, etc.)
Set up the Min amount of seats
Set up the Max amount of seats
Then, click on Add round/rectangular/squared Table to save the configuration of the table.
In the same page, you can:
Select and delete the table/tables
Choose the type of flooring for the interactive map: you can choose one of our templates such as Parquet, Marble, etc.
Change the quantity of a table type (if you have more than one quantity of that type of table)
By clicking on Forward you get to the Verification page which shows a preview of all the rooms and tables created. Click on Back to update what you have done so far and on Confirm when the configuration is correct:
The configuration of your restaurant is finally completed! Go to the Map to place the tables in the right place like in your restaurant!
